Judy Wells

Judy Wells

President

Judy Wells is a thought leader and strategic thinker with more than 25 years’ experience in guiding organizations to breakthrough results through process improvement projects. As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ) and Prosci Change Management practitioner, she is skilled at analyzing what’s working and what’s not in an organization and orchestrating positive change – by tapping strengths and bringing people together, in a positive and motivating manner. Talented at helping organizations define a vision, she establishes strategic direction, drives execution, builds organizational talent, and leads change. Judy is a proven leader in facilitating partnerships and building relationships across all levels of organizations. Her organizational and process management skills are stellar, with a flawless record of on-time, in-budget outcomes on projects of all sizes.

A pioneer in bringing Lean to the U.S., Judy began her career utilizing the Toyota Production System methods developed in Japan while working as a manufacturing engineer. She went on to work for the U.S. Air Force and Hughes Aircraft, where she facilitated Total Quality Management (TQM) process improvement teams and studied under industry experts including W. Edwards Deming. At Hughes Aircraft, she was a certified process improvement facilitator and taught training in Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments. After earning her MBA in Operations Management from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), she began her career as a professional management consultant with Ernst & Young and IBM, where she gained extensive experience and training in process improvement and Organizational Change Management (OCM). Judy has led more than 100 highly successful consulting engagements, the majority of which have included process improvement components.

Sherry Swackhamer

Principal Consultant

Sherry Swackhamer is a proven, innovative leader with over 35 years of management consulting, strategic planning, technology, organizational culture change, and executive-level operations experience. Her broad industry experience includes state and local government; health care; government contracting; real estate, facilities maintenance and property management; fleet/motor pool maintenance and management; public utility; and oil and gas. In 2018, Sherry retired after 15 years from Multnomah County, Oregon, where she was director of the Department of County Assets, responsible for technology, facilities, and fleet/motor pool, with a combined operations and capital annual budget of ~$650M. In this role, she transformed the county’s information technology functions by focusing the organizational culture on meeting business needs through innovative technologies, leveraging cloud technologies, and replacing outdated legacy systems.

Sherry’s technology and management consulting experience spans small to large systems implementations, encompassing business process reengineering, quality assurance, and organizational change management. Systems implemented include state Medicaid systems; local property tax systems; ERP systems; cloud-based email systems; content- and transaction-based websites; electronic medical, dental, and mental health systems; customer service management systems; and integrated library systems. Prior to Multnomah County, she was a senior manager with Deloitte, and a chief information officer with Affiliated Computer Systems. She serves on a variety of local advisory boards, including Transition Projects Inc. and Municipal Broadband PDX.

Maureen Rimkus

Senior Consultant

Maureen Rimkus brings over 15 years of experience managing complex projects, analyzing strategic and tactical objectives, implementing improved business processes, leading teams, and developing people. She helps organizations manage change in processes and systems to ensure project success. Maureen specializes in business requirements documentation, enterprise resource planning processes, and integrated software and process implementation. She is a highly motivated team member with a proven ability to think strategically, lead, and drive improvements. 

Leslie Boyter

Leslie Boyter

Senior Consultant

Leslie Boyter is an experienced consultant specializing in organizational change management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. She is known for her ability to develop rapport quickly and build trust with people of varying backgrounds and perspectives. Leslie focuses on facilitating strategic, informed decision-making aligned to an organization’s values and objectives, using creative and analytical problem-solving to resolve complex issues. She has a unique ability to present complex information in a digestible format to support work groups undergoing change. She holds a master of arts in Organizational Systems: Leadership and Organizational Development from LIOS Graduate School of Saybrook University in Kirkland, Washington.

April Matsui

Senior Consultant

April Matsui is a versatile consultant with a background in process improvement, change management, and project management, both in the public and private sectors. She has more than 20 years of experience helping organizations launch new projects, create training, and manage through change, including process mapping and the people side of change. She is a versatile consultant and formerly spent 15+ years in the banking industry as a product manager, project manager, and change leader. She is recognized for her leadership abilities, enjoys new challenges and settings, and has a passion for excellence. April grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in marketing and an MBA from Roosevelt University. April is a Prosci Change Management practitioner and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is a member of the PMI-Puget Sound Chapter and Pacific Northwest chapter of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP PNW). April volunteers as a business mentor at the Seattle SCORE Chapter and with Girl Scouts of Western Washington.

AJ Reardon

Business Assistant

AJ Reardon is a writer and editor with seven years experience in content marketing. Working for boutique marketing agencies, she created blogs, website text, social media campaigns, and other materials for clients in diverse fields: food and beverage, enterprise software providers, FinTech, and gaming. Prior to her career in content, she worked variety of jobs, including serving as an assistant to a glass artist and reviewing comic books for an online magazine. She is a creative problem solver who enjoys learning new skills in order to help businesses succeed.
